As a Safety, Quality, and Patient Experience (SQPE) Data Management Analyst, you will support the Main Campus Submarket by meeting the data needs of leadership and driving OKRs for the SQPE domain in partnership with the Medical Director and Director of SQPE. A caregiver in this role will collaborate with Continuous Improvement to enable data-driven decision-making and support process improvement initiatives. In addition, you will ensure data integrity, availability, and security through systems management, and compliance with HIPAA and Joint Commission standards. 

 

A caregiver in this position works onsite, Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. After the 90-day new hire period, the role will be hybrid, 4 days remote and 1 day onsite at Main Campus each week. Flexibility to work additional onsite days based on business need.  

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Assess and develop goals for production databases in conjunction with data owners. 

  • Create logical and physical models for new database development and/or changes to existing ones. 

  • Respond to and resolve database access and performance issues. 

  • Conduct research and makes recommendations on database products, services, protocols, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts. 

 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor's degree in business or computer related field  

  • Certification in relational database technology  

  • At least five years of experience working as a database analyst or administrator. 

  • At least 1 year experience writing in MS.NET programming integration and reporting services. 

  • Master's degree may offset years of experience requirement. 

  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools and report writing products required. 

  • Additional years of experience may offset educational requirements.  

  • Data warehouse and/or data mart implementation experience required. 

  • Knowledge of application system design and programming techniques required. 

  • Systems analysis skills in exploring design options and presenting findings. 

 
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Prior healthcare experience  

  • Computer Science or Data Statistics degree highly preferred 

  • Experience with ETL (extract, translate, load) procedures 

  • SQL (Microsoft SQL Server), Tableau, or Oracle experience preferred 

  • Knowledge of healthcare and electronic medical records 

  • Professional certifications in healthcare information/informatics, such as CPHIM 

  • Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA) 

  • RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator)

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
