About the role
The Data Integration Engineer will be responsible for design and implement scalable solutions for systems integration, data collection, and processing across enterprise platforms. They will build and maintain data pipelines and interfaces to enable seamless ingestion, transformation, and integration of diverse data sources, while ensuring compliance with architecture standards. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver robust integration solutions that support business objectives and customer infrastructure.

Key responsibilities
Design, develop, and deliver scalable solutions for systems integration, data collection, and processing across enterprise platforms.
Build and maintain data pipelines and interfaces to support ingestion, transformation, and integration of structured and unstructured data sources.
Develop proposals outlining how Haleon’s products and services can be integrated with customer infrastructure, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and compliance standards.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams (e.g., Azure, Databricks operations & support squads) to ensure seamless delivery and support of integration solutions.
Engage with business users, software vendors, and support teams to gather feedback, resolve issues, and align on integration goals.
Qualifications
Required:
+5 years of professional experience in the similar role
Proficiency in Databricks, ETL frameworks, SQL (Oracle/SQL Server).
Solid understanding of API development, Python, and Azure.
Familiarity with machine learning concepts and Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a global, complex environment.
Background in Computer Science, Business Analysis, or related fields.
Excellent command of English.
Preferred:
Knowledge of Laboratory and Quality processes.
Understanding working in GxP environment.
