Job Title: Decision Modeler (IBM Automation Decision Services / Similar)
Position Overview
Seeking a Decision Modeler skilled in developing, managing, and deploying business decision models using IBM Automation Decision Services (ADS) or similar decision automation platforms. The role requires creating and maintaining decision models, rules, and workflows to automate business policies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement decision models using IBM Automation Decision Services or comparable decision management tools.
- Design decision services including decision models, rules, decision tables, and data models to encode business policies and operational rules.
- Collaborate with business subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate business requirements into automated decision logic using low-code or no-code interfaces.
- Manage and maintain decision services lifecycle, including version control integration (Git), testing, validation, deployment, and documentation.
- Conduct scenario simulations and decision verification to ensure accuracy and compliance of automated decisions.
- Integrate predictive models or machine learning insights into decision logic when applicable to enhance decision outcomes.
- Work alongside development, operations, and business teams for seamless integration of decision services within broader automation workflows.
- Maintain compliance and auditability by providing documentation and change management for decision logic tied to regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Overall experience of 8 to 12 years
- Proven experience with IBM Automation Decision Services (ADS), IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM), or equivalent decision modelling platforms.
- Strong understanding of business rules management, decision tables, and decision modelling concepts.
- Familiarity with decision lifecycle management, version control systems (Git), and collaborative development practices.
- Ability to translate complex business policies and regulations into executable decision logic.
- Experience with low-code/no-code development environments and integration with DevOps pipelines (CI/CD).
- Good analytical, communication, and collaborative skills to work effectively across technical and business teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of predictive analytics and integration of machine learning models into decision services.
- Experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation or similar cloud automation platforms.
- Understanding of compliance, governance, and audit requirements related to decision automation.
Location & Hours of Work
- Full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Expected overlap with US hours as appropriate
- Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India in a hybrid working model (3 days WFO and 2 days WAH)
