We’re looking for Data Engineer to join us at Telia.

My name is Camilla Sternberg, Head of D&A Delivery Pay TV & RA, and today we're looking for a talented Data Engineer to join our team. Your engineering expertise will be key in powering Telia Finance’s data products and analytics capabilities.

What you’ll do:

As a Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures that support advanced analytics, reporting, and financial decision-making. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements, translating them into scalable and maintainable data solutions.

Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security throughout the entire data lifecycle will be a key part of your role.
You will also implement best practices in data engineering, including continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), monitoring, and thorough documentation.
Additionally, you will support the integration of new data sources and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the analytics capabilities within the finance domain.

You are a proactive problem-solver with a passion for data engineering and a strong sense of ownership. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with diverse teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Proven experience as a Data Engineer (2+ years)
Strong proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or Scala.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferable AWS) and data tools like Apache Spark, Airflow, dbt, Great Expectations.
Understanding data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance principles.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A curious and innovative mindset, always looking for ways to improve and evolve data systems.

Monthly salary range for this position 3500-5200 Eur (gross) + annual performance bonuses. Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.
