Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering best practices in data development and collaboration.
Design and oversee the implementation of data architecture, including Data Warehouse (DWH) and Data Mart (DM) design, data modeling, and schema optimization.
Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Functions (Python).
Define and manage data standards, governance, and quality frameworks across the team.
Drive automation and continuous delivery using Azure DevOps (repositories, pipelines, CI/CD).
Collaborate closely with BI, Data Science, and Product teams to ensure high-quality, business-ready data delivery.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot data issues, and continuously improve reliability and scalability.
Contribute to roadmap planning and propose architectural improvements aligned with business goals.
(Optional) Support or supervise data visualization development using Tableau or other BI tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Deep understanding of Data Warehouse (DWH) and Data Mart (DM) design principles, including dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas).
Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Functions (Python) for data transformation and orchestration.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (version control, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation).
Proficiency in SQL and performance tuning for large-scale datasets.
Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills — able to coordinate technical direction for the team.
Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to drive solutions from concept to delivery.
