Pay Range
$26.10 - $39.15EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in healthcare related discipline such as Psychology, Nursing or Basic Science, with two years' experience preferred. An equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered, including two years of relevant college coursework and two years' experience working in a health care environment with basic knowledge of medical terminology. Five years' experience in a research/data collection field and experience with computer database systems preferred. Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement knowledge/experience preferred. Experience in organ procurement organization, transplant center, or tissue procurement/processing preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Collects clinical data from patient medical records and other sources to complete the assigned UNOS Tiedi forms in the on-line system according to the established deadlines. Demonstrates satisfactory levels of accuracy as determined by random audits of data integrity.
2. Collects data for QAPI activities under the direction of the QI and Compliance Manager as agreed to in the QAPI Plan and the agreed upon indicators and definitions. Enters data into the designated portals according to the approved timeline.
3. Maintains various spreadsheets and other tools used for program tracking and QAPI activities.
4. Assists with data collection and entry into INTERMACS registry for mechanical circulatory support devices.
5. Assists with the preparation and maintenance of scorecards and other QAPI tools for the Advanced Cardiac Care and Transplant Program.
6. Assists with preparation for UNOS and CMS surveys of the Advanced Heart Failure Program.
7. Assists with development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of assigned projects under the supervision of the QI and Compliance Manger for Transplant Services.
8. Works collaboratively with the Administrative Director and others to prepare documents for submission to UNOS and CMS as requested.
