Qualification:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

● Troubleshoot data related issues in Tableau reports

● Find and resolve data quality problems

● Ad-hoc data pulls for export to internal and external partners

● Perform data discovery on new sources data being brought into data warehouse

 ●Designing and creating new views and tables in BigQuery

● Create data dictionaries and other documentation

● Monitor nightly batch jobs which load analytics tables

● Additional duties as assigned by your supervisor

Required Skills, Education and Certifications:

• Self driven individual with good problem solving skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Data Science or equivalent experience

• Strong in data analysis with ability to relate data to business processes

• Understanding of data privacy concerns such as PII, HIPA and GDPR

Knowledge of data architecture and ability to design relational tables and star schemas

• 5+ years SQL scripting with advanced SQL skills including DML

Minimum of 1 year experience with Google Cloud Platform BigQuery database

 • 3+ years database and/or data pipeline development experience

• Experience with Google Cloud Data Fusion ETL tool preferred

• Experience with sFTP, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Trello, and Freshdesk tools a plus

Physical Requirements:

● Ability to lift and carry up to 10-15 pounds

● Ability to sit, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time throughout the work day

● Ability to use standard office equipment such as personal computer, laptop, telephone, photocopy machine, etc.
