Job Summary

Data Solutions Analysts help support Comcast Global Audit (CGA) by working with data to identify risks and improve business processes. This role contributes to audit engagements and projects by assisting with data analysis, reporting, and automation tasks.

As part of the Comcast Global Audit team, Analysts are expected to:
• Assist in analyzing business data to support audit planning and execution.
• Help build and maintain reports and dashboards for monitoring key metrics.
• Support the development of data tools and solutions used in audits.
• Contribute to automation efforts that improve audit efficiency.

This role provides exposure to different areas of Comcast Corporation through the audit process and offers opportunities to learn how data can influence risk management and decision-making.

Job Description

What You Deliver

  • Completes assigned tasks and supports project timelines.
  • Discusses audit engagement objectives with CGA team members and recommends data analytics approaches to support audit goals.
  • Extracts, manipulates, transforms, models, visualizes, and analyzes accurate, relevant, timely, and cohesive data to support the audit lifecycle.
  • Identifies audit scope areas that can be automated or repeated through data analytics and works with leadership to schedule/implement.
  • Ensures all data is secure and follows company policies regarding data classification.
  • Analyzes data to assess compliance with established policies/procedures, best practices, US GAAP, and legal/governmental requirements.
  • Learns to apply basic analytical techniques to identify trends and issues.
  • Uses tools like SQL, Tableau, Python, dbt, and AWS to support data tasks.
  • Creates, documents, and executes support process steps and test procedures to ensure data deliverables are accurate and sustainable.
  • Prepares clear and well-organized analysis workpapers, documenting root-cause (as applicable), work performed, findings, and recommendations.
  • Creates graphical reports and executive presentations to effectively summarize analysis and findings.
  • Exercises independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Supports the maintenance of automated data processes.
  • Supports department objectives and performs other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

  • Displays regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), as necessary. Out-of-town travel may be required at up to approximately 20%.
