The Opportunity:
 

CACI is seeking a talented Technical Operator to join our team in Chantilly, VA. In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting efforts to develop technical solutions and to research network vulnerabilities to support cyber operations. The Technical Operator in this position supports all technical aspects focused on priority mission requirements.  This includes but not limited to conducting technical debriefs, technical operations in support of cyber operations management as necessary to Sponsor’s mission.  Officer may also travel in support of operational objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical requirements for customer mission to non-technical audiences
  • Draft and coordinate operational correspondences
  • Oversee testing conducted by another entity
  • Enable technical operations
  • Brief technical capability to audiences of varied technical and operational backgrounds
  • Coordinate with other client offices and tech bases to drive enablement solutions
  • Analyze information for paths forward
  • Travel eligible / responsibilities – Technical exchanges


Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field, with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a relevant technical field to the position
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with required polygraph
  • Working knowledge of cyber capabilities & cyber tools
  • Must have knowledge of or demonstrated experience working with client partners and stakeholders
  • Ability to design and deploy bespoke infrastructure
  • Demonstrated experience in drafting and coordinating correspondence, including coordinating with client stakeholders, driving collaboration and operational partnerships
  • Demonstrated experience in basic technical acumen in: Network Routing, software applications, firmware, cloud, and datacenters
  • Basic working knowledge of computer infrastructure devices (routers, switches, etc.) and the application of those devices in enterprise networks
  • Understanding of computer network exploitation concepts, tradecraft and tools
  • Ability to provide operational insight/feedback to testing and development of capabilities as directed by Sponsor in support of operational plans
  • Demonstrated the ability to integrate into a multi-discipline team and take a team-based approach to solving complex problems
  • Must be a team player; be able to work in a high-impact, busy office; and work well in an open, collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated experience in distilling and summarizing technical concepts for non-technical audiences

  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, work both independently and collaboratively and exercise sound personal judgement in unfamiliar or ambiguous situations
  • Experience enabling scalable collections
  • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex mission critical ideas to audiences with varied technical and operational backgrounds, and at varying seniority levels of the Sponsor’s organization
  • Experience working with client partners
  • Understanding of blended operations
  • Demonstrated experience or familiarity in submitting operational requests to stakeholders

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$94,400 - $198,200
