This role will be based hybrid out of our Hoofdorp office.  

Our Customer Success Specialists will serve as the day-to-day contact for our Corporate and Strategic Accounts for veterinary software in Europe and provide support for scalations of the full business portfolio. This role will be responsible for developing, evolving and strengthening strategic partnerships and relationships through strong commercial and relationship management. You’ll act as a thought partner and decision influencer to customers, providing account management, supporting proposals and negotiations including contract management, assisting in developing project definition, coordinating delivery, and customer rollouts of new IDEXX products and services.

Some of the tasks you’ll be responsible for:  

  • Serve as day-to-day contact for assigned corporate and strategic (large independent) accounts.  

  • Provide ad hoc support to all other customers in their territory.  

  • Manage customer expectations and monitor performance against customer and IDEXX goals   

  • Manage customer relationships by serving as customer product/process interface, providing information and solutions to questions and problems to their accounts. Address customer specific requests and specifications and ensure delivery of customer expectations.  

  • Immediately address customer escalation issues for corporate and strategic account critical care issues.  

  • Partner cross-functionally across IDEXX Organization to facilitate and coordinate business, sales, and technical assistance in support of the Corporate Account business plans and programs. Schedule and facilitate visits and presentations as needed.  

  • Support project / implementation for Corporate Accounts. Support in managing tasks and timelines across all functions, ensuring activities are completed to meet time, cost, quality and customer expectations.  

  • Develop and implement plans for growth of our existing accounts by leveraging more of our products and add-ons  

  • Responsible for handling sales requests and incoming business from independent accounts.  

  • Following the lead of the Corporate & Strategic Accounts Manager, communicate and manage effective implementation of all price increases, contract renewals and incentive rebate payments.  

What we’re looking for:   

  • Fluency in Dutch and English. German is a bonus!   

  • 2-4 years of Customer Account Management or major account sales experience.  

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.  

  • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to build strong relationships with customers & colleagues and to work with all levels internally and externally.  

  • Solid analytical skills - ability to analyse problems, identify alternative solutions and implement recommendations in support of goals. Capable of assessing marketplace and identifying customer needs.  

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills. Ability to present and explain information in a way that establishes rapport; persuades others; and gains understanding.  

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate teams to deliver products and services and meet customer expectations; ability to lead without authority.  

  • Strong project management skills including planning, scheduling, and meeting deliverables.  

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Masters degree or equivalent preferred.  

  • Some travel Required   

  • This role works with multiple timezones so some out of hours/ weekend work may be required

  • Base annual salary target: 50,000-65,000 EUR (yes, we do have flexibility if needed) 

  • Opportunity for annual cash bonus
