Customer Success Specialist (South Korea)

We are looking for a talented and inquisitive Customer Success Specialist whose drive for learning and determination for continuous improvement aligns with our ambitious, fast-growing, and transforming company. Based in South Korea, the key purpose of this role is divided as follows:
40% Training and Support: Provide training, education, and ongoing support to a select customer base on Catapult’s entire range of athlete tracking, video analysis, and VBT (Velocity-Based Training) technology solutions.
40% Sales: Responsible for new business development and upsell opportunities within South Korea.
20% Operations: Work collaboratively with other departments, such as Finance, Logistics, Marketing, Product, and Support, to identify blockers and support the achievement of regional goals.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Account manage a select portfolio of teams in North East Asia
- Responsible for direct and via distributor sales activities such as product demonstrations, prospecting, assist negotiations and closing
- Deliver remote or onsite onboarding to new users and educate customers on best practice utilizing Catapult technology
- Help facilitate technical support in line with company SLA’s where language dependencies exist particularly in Korean
- Maintain Client Health through active account management and drive customer retention and upsell opportunities with support from APAC customer success team
- Create localized self-service content in regional language where applicable
- Lead the planning and execution of marketing initiatives in the South Korea market, including to arrange and host workshops which showcase Catapult products and support new business opportunities.
- Liaise and assist on technical support, logistic, and finance communications with customers
- Triage support of customer queries relating to data analysis for elite teams where required
- Record details of all incoming support requests in line with company procedures ensuring accurate information is obtained
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Native Korean, or native level of the Korean language, fluent in English
- Experience working with/in the South Korea professional sports industry
- Sales and customer service experience in the elite sports industry
- Effective communication skills to both customers and internal stakeholders
- Account management experience with a large customer base (desired)
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide solutions, and willing to go above and beyond for the customers
- Being creative and take ownership when solving for problems
- Great time management and prioritization skills to perform optimally as well as to create healthy work-life balance
- Ability to work individually and with a larger regional team remotely
- Previous experience working in elite sporting environments (recommended)
- Great understanding of a range of sports (football, basketball, volleyball, rugby, and baseball)
- Hands on experience with performance monitoring tools such as GPS; Video Analysis; Tactical applications
- Proficient in statistical analysis of large data sets
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft office
- Basic IT knowledge
- Ability to analyze and interpret performance data
- The desire to influence the performance management of elite sports
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science or other related fields required
