General Description:
Our priority is to make sure we hire professional Customer Service Representative that cares about the safety of our drivers and the service provided to the community. This multi-faceted role combines administrative skills with creativity and cultural leadership. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day office operations, coordinating internal events, maintaining accurate data records, and serving as a culture ambassador to foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
As a Customer Service Representative with us, your key responsibilities will include:
Answering customer calls and processing customer orders for new service, discontinuance, or changes in service.
Accepting payments from customers, researching customer billing inquiries and updating customer account information.
Interacting with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine service requirements, resolve problems or complaints, and seek cost-effective, safe environmentally sound solutions to service issues.
Accurately perform data entry and maintain organized digital records across operational platforms.
Review and audit AI-generated data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal standards.
Manage cash deposit processes, including preparation, reconciliation, and secure handling.
Support the Health & Safety Committee by coordinating events and meetings, tracking initiatives, and promoting safety awareness.
Plan and execute internal events that foster team engagement and reinforce a culture of safety and positivity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure events align with company goals and values
Promote and uphold safety as the organization’s core value through daily practices and communications.
Generate, verify, and distribute operational reports using Trux and Ares systems.
Collaborate with department leaders to implement process improvements and support operational efficiency.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
Proven experience in office administration, event planning, or related roles
2 years of experience in Customer Service or relevant operations experience
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements
