By joining the Pumps, Cyclones and Valves (PCV) organization within FLSmidth, you are joining an extremely dynamic, exiting, rapidly growing Product Line.

Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for handling the processing and scheduling of parts/unit orders for all the customer service department.
  • Responsible for handling our aftermarket parts quotes.
  • Work daily with intercompany offices in getting unit and system orders written up and put through the system in a timely manner.
  • Utilize deep understanding of inventory movements and availability to strategize paths for optimal deliveries.
  • Maintain stocking levels through utilizing efficient channels of communication with sales engineers and clients regarding usage and delivery requirements. 
  • Assists other customer service agents with overflow work as needed.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

What you bring

  • College degree plus one to two years related experience and/or training.
  •  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  •  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a specific requirement in Spanish and English.

  • Must be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. 
  • Working knowledge of MRP systems.

  • Ability to develop and maintain good relationships on all levels with customers and internally.
