Customer Service Representative

Mission Valley Pet Clinic is looking for a personable and skilled Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team! As the primary point of contact at our clinic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring every client interaction—whether over the phone or in person—results in a positive and memorable impression. Your ability to create a welcoming environment and deliver exceptional service will be key to our success. 

  • Salary: $19 – 22 per hour depending on experience and education

  • Schedule: Full-time, Four 8-hour shifts + every Saturday (6 hours) required

  • Location: 4329 Twain Ave, San Diego, CA 92120

We offer high-quality care to cats and dogs and foster meaningful, long-term relationships with our clients and their pets. Who You Are:

If you have a professional, friendly personality and love to help people and their pets, you will fit right in with our Client Service Team!

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required 

  • 1+ years of customer service experience in a veterinary, dental, or medical clinical setting preferred

  • 1+ years using a Point-of Sale (POS) system preferred

  • Experience processing financial transactions, payment plans, billing and insurance preferred

  • Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures preferred

  • Technologically proficient and comfortable with veterinary or medical record keeping software and other digital communication tools

  • Professional and friendly phone etiquette  

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

  • Very detail-oriented 

  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced, client-facing environment

  • Ensure a clean, safe and organized work environment
