Customer Installation Engineer

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Customer Installation Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end coordination and execution of new gas installation projects (Air Gases, CO2, & Specialty Gases) at both Air Liquide and customer sites. This vital role ensures all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in strict compliance with all HSE policies, Air Liquide standards, and relevant Group policies (IMS).

Project Execution & Budget Management:

  • Coordinate and manage all phases of new installation projects, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and timelines.
  • Monitor project spending and proactively manage costs to achieve maximum efficiency and minimum cost impact.

Technical Planning & Sales Support:

  • Conduct necessary site visits to collect detailed requirements and data for project planning.
  • Develop comprehensive technical and budgetary offers for installations and secure internal validation before submission to the Sales team.
  • Act as the primary technical interface, supporting the Industrial Merchant (IM) Sales team to maximize customer satisfaction and reliability.
  • Experience in the maintenance and commissioning of static equipment (Vessel, safety valves, diffrents types of valves).

Standards & Compliance:

  • Ensure all installation work strictly adheres to corporate technical and safety standards.
  • Follow and apply all HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and Air Liquide Standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Process Improvement & Documentation:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for installations, ensuring full alignment with regulatory, entity, and Group policies (IMS).

Are you a MATCH?

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering with 3 to 5 years of experience in Project Engineering or Engineering Organization (process engineering, PFD/PID, process control ,Regulations,  piping design,...).
  • Providing expert technical know-how and support regarding specific requirements for project set-up.
  • Ability to develop and execute competitive / innovated solutions
  • Strong Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving skills
  • Strong mechanical knowledge
  • knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Good troubleshooting analysis skills   
  • Experience using AutoCAD or similar software
  • Advanced English language
  • A driver's license is a must.
