Technical Skills – Solution Area: AI Business Solutions, Exchange on premise and M365 EXO
We need individuals that:
· Possess deep technical expertise in at least one technical specialty and can solve complex technical problems through sound, creative troubleshooting. You will also need to be able to examine possible workarounds and escalations as required.
· Set an example of excellence as a Microsoft representative, enhancing the company's image and reputation through your credibility, preparation, commitment, and first-class delivery.
· Demonstrate strong communication skills; ability to develop strategic on-going customer relationships, gain trust and respect for the company. Engineers must also possess strong technical writing, presentation and training skills.
· Communicate at all levels from CIO to the technical staff on the ground. Expertise Required · Experience in the enterprise customer arena and track record with delivering enterprise-grade solutions

· Security Clearance: yes, L2 (approved SC preferred, at least willingness to obtain a security clearance)
· Language: Fluent in German and English (written and oral communication)
· Travel: required, ~50% onsite work, rest will be filled with remote engagements
· Location: close to Cologne/Bonn area preferred Technical Expertise Required Microsoft Exchange & Active Directory General:
· Technical experience with on-premises and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, deployment, troubleshooting, and technology management.
· At least five or more years projects experience.
· Proven subject matter expertise in the following:
· Self-reliant and strong team player, working in a fast-paced environment where technology and customers' requirements can change regularly
· Understanding of Microsoft’s Modern IT Architecture and Strategy
· PowerShell\Scripting experience Microsoft Exchange Server & Exchange Online
· Deep understanding in Exchange server and hybrid architecture 2016\2019
· Deep troubleshooting skills with Exchange server and hybrid Exchange environments
· Designing & implementing services of MS Exchange server (2016, 2019) such as: High availability (DAG), Public Folders, Mail Flow, Disaster Recovery, Managed Availability, Messaging Policies, Compliance, Configuring Reporting & Logging
· Designing and implementing Exchange Online and hybrid Exchange environments, including Hybrid Configuration Wizzard (HCW), Federation, Mail Flow, hybrid Free/Busy, hybrid delegation/permissions and mailbox migrations
· Experience in assessing Exchange Servers, health checks of existing solutions, provide best practice recommendations, guidance on clients, supporting customers on their operations in Exchange environments which includes change, release, performance, and availability management.
· Experience with Exchange migrations, upgrades, and optimizations.
· Deep understanding in SMTP · Experience and skills with Failover Clustering
· Experience with PowerShell scripting
· Experience in Exchange Online Protection (EOP) and Defender for Office
· Proven track record in successfully planning, deploying, operating, and optimizing on-premises and hybrid environments Identity related requirements:
· Deep understanding in Active Directory architecture
· Experience in Entra ID and Entra Connect
· Experience in designing and implementing Active Directory
· Experience in backup and restore Active Directory
· Experience in troubleshooting Active Directory
