About the function
The Commercial Experience Tower accomplishes the processes that allow us to transact with our customers and distributors. As the second-largest tower in GBO, we operate across multiple global locations to ensure these processes are standardized, efficient, and customer-focused. We take ownership of debtor performance, providing the insight, analysis, and capability needed to optimize working capital and credit risk management.
About the role
The Customer Data Requestor activities ensure accurate and completeness of Customer Master data. This role ensures maintenance of data quality and that business objectives and requirements are met. The position acts as a point of contact between market and various DBS teams to ensure global data quality agenda is implemented in the assigned market(s).
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Support
Coordinate new system configurations as per market requests/ global processes
Address all SAP market specific errors preventing execution of any of the E2E Commercial end to end processes across assigned market/region
Investigate and resolve any customer master data related issues affecting the E2ECommercial team working with the MDM customer domain and SAP support team to resolve.
Drive action towards commercial master data quality (KPIs reported by the MDM team)
Support EDI implementations from master data perspective
Business Partnering
Coordinate the timely set-up of market specific urgent activities e.g. tax changes, price condition related setups and support from a Customer master data perspective.
Continuously look for process improvements to drive customer satisfaction and raise service efficiency, lead process improvement initiatives together with other respective departments.
Lead the running customer master data related projects, participate in designing and testing the new processes/tools
Manage strong relationship with In-Market Sales, Supply Chain, Commercial Finance, 3PL and STC Process Execution Teams
Coordination of peak period customer master data set-up
Ensure market E2E commercial data process improvement of customer master data tasks are coordinated, tested in GT2 and implemented in DEP ( Note. Maintenance is done by the MDM team)
Partner with the customer facing E2E commercial teams and the FC teams to support E2E Commercial process, enabling efficiency in customer service from a data perspective.
Drive the right culture and behavior for accurate customer master data in markets including knowledge transfer and retention among users
Provide guidance on market specific nuances/conditions
What you will bring
Graduate level preferred
Fluent French and solid English
A broad-based understanding of how effective data management can support business operations
At least 1-2 years experience in a data management, process improvement or data related role is desirable, but more important is a logical approach to problem solving
Good reporting abilities
SAP, data quality tools deployment is an advantage but not a prerequisite
