Ayvens Mexico City, is looking for a three Credit Risk Analysts.
Overview
Ayvens Credit Risk Analyst is responsible for analyzing credit data and financial statements to evaluate the risks associated with the counterparty’s creditworthiness.
They use a variety of analytical techniques to evaluate the risks associated with lending to consumers and to evaluate business risks.
They are also responsible for preparing reports consolidating information for use in decision-making and making credit decisions within the defined levels of authority.
Scope and Responsibilities
The main responsibility of the Credit Analyst is the execution of the necessary risk assessment appropriate to each customer and credit application type.
This includes evaluation of financial data, such as balance sheets and income statements to determine the level of default risk, including the calculation of financial ratios, interpreting results from automated decision-making and the preparation of a report to register the required audit trail.
For credit origination, the Credit Risk Analyst will perform the credit analysis, which may include KYC (Know Your Customer) elements and the update of rating or scoring, and issue a credit opinion. They are also responsible for registering new customers in risk system following the registration done by sales, if needed.
For automatic or semi-automatic decisions, the Credit Risk analyst is responsible for validating the information used for this matter.
If the credit application is within their derogation rights, as defined in the delegation letter, the Credit Risk Analyst will make the credit decision and proceed to credit authorization. If not,
For credit review, the Credit Risk Analyst is responsible for regular rating / scoring update, and they also will be responsible for preparing the credit file to be shared with the second line of defense for validation.
Skills Requirements
Required expertise:
Relevant University degree (Bachelor/Masters level) e.g. in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration. Candidates with higher education on Credit risks topics, combined with adequate knowledge of the financial sector will also be considered.
Knowledge about Credit risks including a very good understanding of current requirements in Credit origination.
Strong financial analysis and accounting capabilities.
Proficient English (Mandatory)

Regularly communicate information that is timely, relevant, and tailored to each audience. This includes being transparent about both positive and negative developments.
Ability to manage diverse work and overlapping priorities.
An open mind-set and willingness to learn.
