Job Summary

The Corporate Partnerships Channel Manager is responsible for managing marketing efforts focused building and sustaining relationships with Mountain America’s corporate partners. This position assumes primary responsibility for the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns to meet company and growth initiatives. They will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing campaigns that support our membership initiative which is passionate about strengthening the emotional connection with Mountain America through innovative partnerships and the added value we create for our members.

  • Develop strategic marketing plans to drive new account growth, increase products and services per household utilizing assets and channels through various sponsorships 
  • Serve as liaison with vendors, marketing team members, and branches on executing partnership assets
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with marketing and creative teams to strategically develop and deliver branded assets and experiential materials that maximize sponsor visibility and engagement
  • At the direction of the VP of Corporate Partnerships, manages and executes team-wide projects for financial education, sponsorships, events, and business development/SEG
  • Manage marketing partnerships, build strong relationships, and serve as a brand ambassador for these relationships 
  • Assist in developing overall marketing plans to promote Mountain America through sponsorships
  • Analyze market trends, demographic information, segmentation tools, environmental and community influences to effectively engage with consumers that attend various events secured through sponsorships 
  • Personably represents Mountain America in community interactions and in meetings and professionally coordinates with Mountain America executives and staff 
  • Manage select corporate partnership contracts and negotiates contracts as assigned 
  • Propose partnership activation budget for accounts managed and provides periodic progress reports for each event project and track expenses, budget and ROI and provides regular reports 
  • Work with the VP of Corporate Partnerships on various business development events to spur growth in various markets 
  • Work closely with the Marketing Events leadership to effectively maximize corporate sponsorship assets in regard to on-site activations and NIL events 
  • Work closely with marketing leaders and product channel managers to execute overall product marketing strategies 
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships 
  • Develop proposals for new promotions, manage projects, and ensure milestones are on track with deadlines being met 
  • Develop and lead business project teams focused on multi-organizational team-based execution 
  • Lead detailed member analysis, solution / workflow design, and justification processes 
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • 4 or more years of financial services experience
  • 2 or more years of Marketing experience with Sponsorship experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field or 4 additional years combined experience in marketing, advertising, sales, or financial services

Licenses, Certifications, Registrations

Valid Driver’s License with good driving record

  • Experience with marketing campaign management and advertising 
  • Experience with executing marketing campaigns through mass media, direct mail, point of sale and online channels 
  • Knowledge of media buying tactics and strategies 
  • Knowledge and experience with financial products and services 
  • Experience with contract fulfillment 
  • Track record of performance excellence meeting targets and objectives 
  • Working knowledge and experience with quantitative analysis, statistics, etc. 
  • Experience in data and analytics management, including the use of predictive modeling to develop accurate market and product forecasts 
  • Ability to analyze business needs and formulate them into effective marketing strategies 
  • Strong analytical skills, commercial nuances and handling complex deals that would involve multiple parties in the transaction 
  • Demonstrate strong relationship management experience throughout all levels of member organizations

  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, some overnight travel may be required
