How will you make an impact?

Our interns are matched to projects based on their abilities and current business needs. All projects will have significant strategic and/or operating importance to the business to which they are assigned.

Summer projects may include the following responsibilities:

  • Support M&A strategy objectives including the development and tracking of acquisition opportunities.
  • Participate on teams evaluating M&A opportunities and leading divestitures.
  • Perform acquisition valuation.
  • Perform industry and competitive research to support senior leaders.
  • Analyze industry dynamics and the competitive landscape.
  • Analyze company SEC filings, Wall Street research, and market reports.
  • Support special projects as assigned in connection with the Corporate Development team’s goals and strategy.
  • Develop strong relationships with relevant Thermo Fisher groups.

Start Date: This internship is set to begin in July, 2026 for a duration of 2 months – dependent upon student availability per academic calendars.

Compensation & Relocation: Our undergraduate Corporate Strategy & Development internships offer an hourly rate dependent upon the location you are supporting (aligned to respective cost-of-living guidelines).

How will you get here?

  • MBA/Graduate student completing a Business degree between
  • Previous work experience required -- ideally gained in a large, global organization.
  • Consistent track record of results demonstrating integrity, innovation, involvement, and intensity.
  • Energized through championing change, driven in getting results, and savvy in navigating ambiguity.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $55.00–$55.10.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
