POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Corporate Consolidation Manager to lead the global consolidation and financial reporting processes of our publicly traded organization. This individual will play a critical role in the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, SEC regulations, and internal controls. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in public accounting, financial systems, and multinational consolidation, along with experience working in complex, matrixed environments.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):

• Monthly corporate close and consolidation procedures - deadline driven activities including consolidating journal entries, subsidiary trial balance uploads, intercompany eliminations, closing process review and reconciliations

• Lead the global consolidation process for monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles, ensuring timely and accurate financial results

• Compile financial statement footnote detail and assist in preparation and tie out of quarterly filings (10-Q/10-K) to support external reporting needs

• Assist with the quarterly review and year-end audit process and provide supporting documentation and analysis as needed

• Review intercompany transactions and eliminations to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Collaborate with global business unit finance teams to ensure consistency and compliance across entities

• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the consolidation process

• Maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting (SOX) including appropriate supporting documentation

• Serve as a key liaison with external auditors, performing control walkthroughs, providing requested documentation and addressing audit inquiries

• Assist with projects and technical accounting research as needed

• Facilitate integration and accounting of newly acquired entities

• Support ad-hoc internal, group, and corporate M&A activities, such as financial modelling and due diligence activities, as needed

• Assist with global finance department process improvement initiatives

• Support the implementation of software solutions to facilitate improved financial planning and reporting processes

COMPETENCIES & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

• Strong understanding and application of US GAAP and SEC financial reporting requirements including financial statements and related footnotes

• Multi-currency consolidation and international accounting experience

• Strong written, verbal communication and collaborative skills

• Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data

• Ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization

• Self-motivated and self-directed, with demonstrated ability to work well with people

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, completing assignments within deadlines and due dates

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

• Experience working with financial ERPs (experience with Netsuite is a plus)

• Experience working with data mining and reporting tools (experience with Power BI is a plus)

• Experience working with a multi-national public organization

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field required

• CPA (or international equivalent) required

• 5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting and SEC reporting required, including at least 2 years in a consolidation role

• US work authorization required
