Cash Management Corporates provides large cap companies with global cash management solutions including payments and receivables, integrated FX payments, client integration and online banking solutions, and international liquidity management structures. We give advice to senior level corporate representatives (Head of Cash Management, Assistant Treasurers, Treasurers, Head of Payment Operations) with a goal of securing cash management mandates for the bank. The client base is Swiss multinational corporates and midcaps and the solutions positioned are focused on international cash management wallet.

The candidate will be responsible for the sales and ongoing relationship aspects of all Cash Management services and products to customers that require straight forward as well as complex solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new pipeline deals with target clients by promoting and selling cash management solutions and leading client negotiations

  • Structure solutions that fit client requirements and provide specialist advice to clients on products and solutions

  • Maintain existing client relationships as product specialist and maintain and increase revenue accordingly by visiting clients, active account management and providing new ideas and solutions

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders both within Cash Management (Product Mgt, Implementation, Services, Operations) & Corporate Banking Coverage as well as the wider bank to ensure client centricity and maximize revenue potential.

  • Prepare account plans, review revenue developments and monitor financial KPI on client/deal-level, calculate pricing and revenue impact.

  • Negotiate internally to get all necessary approvals to proceed with the transaction

  • Acts as a first line of defense: is responsible for monitoring of clients (financial) behavior and (financial) developments

  • Ensure routine compliance with internal policies and procedures and external regulatory and best practice standards

  • Maintain up to date awareness of competitor activity, market trends and market knowledge economic/political factors that affect the market and identify specific market opportunities in conjunction with relationship management

Requirements:

  • Requires specialized depth and breadth of expertise of the business, the market and the needs of the target segment

  • Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices

  • Solves complex problems that have a broad impact on the business; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions

  • Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations

  • Makes decisions guided by policies in nonstandard situations

  • Excellent interpersonal skills: effective and concise communicator at all levels, both verbal and written

Education/ Work experience:

  • University degree with at least 5 years of experience in Cash Management /Treasury Solutions.

  • Strong selling skills, including but not limited to communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

  • Financial analysis skills

  • Professionally fluent in English. German and French skills are a plus

  • Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
