The Corporate Affairs department at Blackstone plays a vital role in shaping and executing the firm’s communication strategies, both internally and externally. The department encompasses three key areas: Public Affairs, Marketing, and Sustainability.

Position Overview:

The Corporate Affairs Analyst will primarily support the Public Affairs team in managing the firm’s brand, external communications, and internal messaging. This role involves assisting with public relations efforts for senior executives, driving internal communications initiatives, and contributing to firmwide communications projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Communications Support: Assist with planning and execution of media interviews, conferences, priority travel, firm milestones, and other high-visibility engagements. Provide support during critical communications moments, including quarterly earnings, major announcements, and firm milestones.
  • Messaging Development: Draft and edit press releases, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with the firm’s messaging strategy.
  • Executive Briefing: Prepare briefing materials for senior executives ahead of media interviews and public-facing engagements, collaborating with stakeholders across Public Affairs and Blackstone business units.
  • Media Monitoring: Track and analyze media coverage, providing insights and updates to executives and the broader Public Affairs team.
  • Internal Communications: Develop and execute internal messaging for company-wide updates, announcements, and events, ensuring clear and engaging communication.
  • Event Coordination: Support executives during interviews and events, coordinating logistics with internal teams and external stakeholders, including preparation, follow-up, and review processes (e.g., legal and stakeholder approvals).
  • Social Media Management: Oversee content creation, review, and strategy for the firm’s social media platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills; experience managing multiple initiatives and prioritizing effectively.
  • Highly motivated and proactive, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge of digital communication strategies and social media platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).

Expected annual base salary range:

$85,000 - $115,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
