Production Operations and Engineering consists of a wide range of media centric roles. We are responsible for managing the entire life cycle of A+E’s programming. This is where we produce, transform, broadcast and distribute content as well as run the tech infrastructure for the Media Supply chain. Job Description

THE ROLE: Coordinator, Post-Production Operations (Temporary) 
 

The Post-Production Operations Coordinator supports scheduling, workflows, and communication between post-production teams and external partners. This role requires translating client needs into clear, actionable tasks while ensuring efficient operations across multiple teams. Success depends on staying organized, proactive, and adaptable in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The position is freelance, full-time, and reports to the Supervising Producer. 
 
Freelance, Non-Exempt, Hourly (35 hours/week)  
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, Swing Shift: 11 AM–7PM EST  


MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

  • Freelance Crew Scheduling: Support/Lead scheduling, timesheet approvals, onboarding, and offboarding from an administrative perspective for the Motion Graphics Team and other scheduling support needs as requested by Admin team. 

  • Production Support: Work with other Post Coordinators to oversee / manage daily operational fulfillment request needs in support of internal and external editing projects - such media ingest, asset ordering & trafficking, voiceover and audio mix scheduling and onboarding. 

  • Systems Support: Conceptualize, build, and maintain workflows in Airtable for our Post Producers, Admin-Scheduling and Production Support teams 

  • Asset and Resource Management: Coordinate ingest, archival, and asset trafficking requests while publishing production plans for the post-reformatting team. Manage virtual Premiere stations, allocate resources and personnel, and support Post Producers with credits and graphics for editing sessions. 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1 - 2 years of Post-Production related experience. 

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once in a team-oriented environment. 

  • Strong technical skills in tools like Airtable and Microsoft (Outlook, Shifts, Teams, etc). 

  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail & ability to troubleshoot   

  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in a hybrid work environment. 

  • Proactive and resourceful, with a willingness to ask questions and seek clarity when needed. 

  • Quick to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment. 

  • Willingness to work flexible hours to meet production and team coverage needs. 

  • Openness to learning new tools and processes, participate in cross-training as business needs require, and balance growth with daily responsibilities 

Please note project assignment associates are engaged to provide service to A+E Global Media on a temporary basis in connection with a specific project. Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third-party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than eighteen (18) months. 

Compensation

Contract Hourly Pay Rate: $30.00
