The Job:
 
The CW is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join the Content Marketing team.  Reporting to the VP of Content Marketing, this position will assist with the development and execution of consumer advertising and promotion campaigns to drive awareness, and tune-in for The CW programming across genres.  In addition, the Coordinator will provide general administrative support for Marketing Leadership.

As Content Marketing Coordinator, this team member must be creative, collaborative and a great multi-tasker with an appetite to learn all aspects of content marketing.


The Daily:

  • Primary responsibilities include acting as a liaison with and supporting the internal cross-functional departments (Creative, Digital, On-Air, Publicity, Events, Scheduling, Operations, Social, etc.) and external agencies to deliver on the strategy and promotional plans of the various marketing campaigns.

  • Consolidate marketing plans into comprehensive presentations.

  • Contribute in the ideation of marketing and promotional ideas related to CW programming.

  • Creation of marketing department campaign timelines.

  • Coordinate creative material delivery for marketing and paid media campaigns

  • Maintenance and organization of department materials used for marketing campaigns.

  • Assist with strategy, research, reporting and evaluation related to marketing campaigns.

  • Responsible for legal/finance paperwork related to marketing campaign efforts, including (but not limited to) NDAs, invoice tracking, SOWs and Vendor set-up.

  • Administrative duties include scheduling, expense reports and other administrative duties as assigned. 


The Essentials:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 1-3 years of marketing experience at a media company or advertising/promotion agency (entertainment industry experience preferred).

  • Excellent project and time management skills.

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask and operate independently in a fast-paced, professional setting.

  • Ability to create visually compelling presentations in Powerpoint, Keynote, Canva, etc.

  • Ability to work in Burbank, CA at least 4 days/week and willingness to work weekends or overtime.

  • Creativity, a willingness to contribute and a passion for entertainment, media and pop culture.

The Compensation

  • $50K – $60K/yr commensurate with experience and skill levels.
