Role Summary

Pfizer’s Access & Accord initiative is expanding equitable access to breakthrough medicines and vaccines across emerging markets through commercially sustainable partnerships. Building on a solid foundation, the program is entering a new phase of growth; scaling solutions across additional countries, therapeutic areas, and innovative partnership models.

As the Coordinator, Access & Accord, you will provide comprehensive operational, administrative, and project management support to the Vice President and the broader Access & Accord team. This position blends classic executive coordination with advanced operational execution, covering governance, procurement, compliance, vendor engagement, dashboards, and event delivery. Your work will directly enable Pfizer’s mission to deliver breakthroughs that change patients’ lives.
 

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Operational and Project Support

  • Plan, track, and reconcile annual project-related spend; create and manage purchase orders, track invoices, and ensure alignment with Pfizer SOPs.
  • Lead end-to-end procurement and vendor-management workflows, ensuring appropriate due diligence, contracting, and training for external partners.
  • Provide subject-matter guidance on internal reviews (FCPA, enhanced due diligence) and ensure full documentation for compliance audits.
  • Coordinate and maintain project trackers, timelines, and milestones; consolidate updates and prepare standardized briefs for leadership review.
  • Support execution of special projects and operating-plan initiatives, applying analytical and organizational skills to meet deliverables.
  • Partner with People Experience team to develop and execute onboarding plans for new hires, ensuring smooth integration into team operations.
  • Maintain team SharePoint repositories, ensuring logical organization, version control, and user access; recommend and implement enhancements.

Team Governance and Dashboards

  • Maintain a yearly calendar of key Access & Accord forums and governance meetings, ensuring scheduling, participation tracking, and agenda readiness.
  • Prepare meeting materials, capture decisions, circulate summaries, and follow up on action items to closure.
  • Manage and update Access & Accord dashboards and reporting platforms, collecting data in pre-defined formats, consolidating inputs, and ensuring timely submissions.
  • Maintain documentation, approvals, and training materials related to platforms and dashboards.

External Forums and Event Execution

  • Support the planning and delivery of external forums, leadership meetings, and partnership events.
  • Conduct vendor identification, contracting, and due diligence in collaboration with Legal, Compliance, and Procurement.
  • Coordinate end-to-end logistics, including internal requirements scoping, content collection, vendor training, and onsite execution.
  • Serve as a MAPP champion within the team. Work with project leads to ensure full understanding and operational excellence in following all Compliance processes
  • Work with events agencies to ensure Scope of Work deliverables and execution is smooth

Administrative and Executive Support

  • Manage complex global calendars, multi-time-zone scheduling, and high-volume meeting coordination with proactive prioritization.
  • Arrange international travel (flights, hotels, visas) and prepare detailed itineraries; process and reconcile/prepare expense reports .
  • Prepare meeting agendas, briefing notes, and presentations; ensure readiness and follow-up on deliverables.
  • Handle confidential communications and correspondence with discretion and timeliness.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communications

  • Serve as liaison between cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and clarity of execution.
  • Support preparation of internal updates, leadership presentations, and communications that clearly convey progress and impact.
  • Build connections across functions to enhance speed, visibility, and coordination.
     

Process Excellence and Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement process simplifications that improve operational speed and compliance.
  • Collaborate with peer administrative professionals to ensure seamless team coverage and best-practice sharing.
  • Model Pfizer Values and contribute to a positive, high-performance team culture.

     

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7–10 years of progressive administrative/operational experience supporting senior leaders in complex, global or regional environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote) and Pfizer enterprise systems including Ariba, Concur, Navigator, MAPP, Engage…
  • Demonstrated expertise in procurement, project coordination, and compliance documentation.
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English is a must with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or market access domains.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority and navigate matrix environments.
    Resourceful self-starter who anticipates needs, operates calmly under pressure, and embodies Pfizer Values.
  • Additional language proficiency beyond English is a plus.
