The Coordinating Producer supports QVC and HSN, and coordinates the production of the live show, oversees the production crews and studio resources to maximize sales and ensure high production values are upheld, in addition to managing a team. Reporting to our Sr. Coordinating Producer, the CP integrates/balances sales and production strategies together to make the live show informative, entertaining and profitable.

The Coordinating Producer is the "point person" and provides direction to all live production groups; on-air talent and our operational staff during assigned shift ensuring all necessary action is executed as needed for every show and product presentation. They interact with both our internal and external contacts and make decisions, in real time, that affect overall production value/on-air presentations. The Coordinating Producer also leads the production team in both a formal and informal manner and are responsible for the development of various associates.

Where You'll Work

  • This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at our headquarters in West Chester, PA. You will work at least 3 of you 4 shifts per week onsite. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
  • Schedule: Must be available to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts, as well as weekends. (Rotating Schedule based on the needs of the business).

What You'll Do

  • Engage directly with the Studio Production leadership team to implement show production procedures, standards and best practices.
  • Use leadership influence to inspire and engage team. Uses influence to encourage the contributions of others and supports change and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate clear direction and expectations for on-air execution to partners throughout the studio environment.
  • Operate with a high level of autonomy and use your judgment to deliver key business results through effective resource allocation.
  • Be a liaison between Studio Production and key departments across the company.
  • Able to gather and process large amounts of information and efficiently identify the most relevant, impactful data. Solve problems using creative, innovative thinking.
  • Embrace accountability and continually looks to improve individual performance and contributions to the team.
  • Create and leverage processes that result in efficient workflow.
  • Be a resource for the Line Producer during the show to address problems in working with various other departments including Graphics and Control Room. Inspects the condition of all sets, props, guest items and products. Acts in the capacity of final authority for on-air quality, the "look" of QVC before elements hit air.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Television, Broadcasting, Communications or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
  • MINIMUM 5 years of recent live Broadcasting experience, electronic retailing experience along with recent experience working in a live show environment required.
  • DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE showcasing leadership influence, producing, and strong communication skills required.
  • Strong existing knowledge about the organization and our brand.
  • Significant experience; managing people, coordinating logistics, producing various productions required.
  • Strong knowledge of recent experience with live TV production, marketing and sales required.
