Role Overview:

We are seeking a Contractor: Merchant Services – Business Development with proven experience in the merchant acquiring and payment solutions space. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in driving merchant onboarding, managing card payment solution campaigns, and building strong partnerships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Are you someone who can:

• Do end-to-end management of pricing proposals and onboarding.
• Drive campaign management from launch to completion.
• Do budget tracking, reporting, and sales gap-closing strategies.
• Analyze and develop implementation plans against the forecasted financial budget.
• Build relationships with merchants and other stakeholders.
• Coach frontline sales members on how to effectively upsell.
• Develop and implement practices which build service delivery excellence and implement efficiency models.
• Maintain expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices and provide advice to relevant stakeholders.
• Provide input into, and implement, corporate governance, compliance, integrity and ethics policies in area of accountability to identify and manage risk exposure.
• Participate in relevant management forums where required and cascades relevant information through team.
• Identify opportunities for efficiencies and reducing duplication.   

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

   

• A Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Business or Marketing.
• Have 4 to 5 years of Business development / management experience in a banking / sales environment.
• Retail sector with financial services experience is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive and adaptable to changing environments and technologies.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
