Job Description Summary
The Contract Support Specialist is responsible for payment of administrative fees and rebates, supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of commercial contracts, including agreement quality checks, implementation, and system management. This role ensures compliance with contract terms, supports internal and external audits, and drives process improvements aligned with lean strategies. The specialist collaborates cross-functionally to resolve contract-related issues and enhance operational efficiency.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Monitor and calculate manual committed rebates
- Review and approve contract language to ensure rebate and fee terms are operationally feasible
- Work with third-party vendors to calculate rebates and manage the volume of manual rebate processing
- Participate in system enhancements, UAT and bug resolution as it relates to rebates, admin fees, implementation and QC of executed contracts
- Maintain various trackers and complete assigned monitoring requests
- Collaborate with Finance to resolve outstanding check issues and vendor setups
- Process GPO portal pricing requests as needed and related invoices for rebate standardization programs
- Implement agreements timely and accurately, adhering to standard operating procedures and business requirements
- Perform quality checks on agreements to ensure pricing and customer information accuracy prior to execution
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve pricing and contract-related issues
- Assist with implementing price increase projects and adjustments across product lines
- Assist with gathering data for internal and external audits
- Identify, participate in, and lead process improvement initiatives to support lean strategies
- Maintain SOPs and Guide Sheets related to contract support and payment operations
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years of experience in administrative or contract operations roles
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- High attention to detail with accurate input and proof-reading capabilities
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated proficiency in the English language
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills across all organizational levels
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Desired Characteristics
- Experience in Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences industries, with GPO and contracting exposure
- Experience with Six Sigma initiatives or Lean Methodologies
- Experience with SAP, SalesForce.com, PowerBI and Contract systems
- Business acumen and initiative
- Understanding of channel strategy and go-to-market models

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $74,800.00-$112,200.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
