GEA Group, located in York, PA, is searching for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team! This role is responsible for mid-large size initiative across various departments throughout our Heating and Refrigeration division.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement processes that improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
Maintain and monitor performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement
Identify root causes of process and system issues and develop corrective actions
Analyze customer feedback and develop strategies to improve customer experience
Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
Mentor and support other members of the team in process improvement and data analysis
Lead cross-functional teams in implementing process improvements, utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business or Industrial Engineering required. Master's degree highly preferred.
Quality improvement certification such as Lean and Six Sigma highly preferred.
5+ years’ related experience in manufacturing industry with a Bachelor's, 3+ years experience with a Master's, 5-10+ year's experience in lieu of degree.
Strong Experience in project management, including experience leading cross-functional teams.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Vision and SharePoint required.
Experience with blueprints and diagrams preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $71,570.00 - $84,200.00 per year. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.
The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
