What is The Role:

We’re looking for a Customer Advocacy Content Developer Manager to join our Customer Advocacy team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our customers, field sales organization, and product marketing teams to bring together and showcase how our solutions drive measurable business outcomes and results for our customers and partners!

You will be responsible for leading a small team of content developers while working directly with customers to generate credible, compelling content. This content will focus on customer stories, specifically redefining insights—covering initial challenges, solution deployment, and realized return on investment and overall value —into multiple formats.

This is the phenomenal role for a storyteller with a product marketing perspective. The ideal candidate will translate complex technical solutions into clear, engaging narratives that encourage confidence and drive sales conversations.

What You Will Be Doing: 

  • Partner with sales, customer success, and product marketing to identify customers with compelling stories that demonstrate business value and innovation.
  • Conduct customer interviews to understand their journey, technical implementation, and measurable outcomes.
  • Develop a range of customer advocacy content, including: Case studies; business outcome summaries; video scripts and presentation spotlights; short testimonials, blog features, and social posts
  • Collaborate with internal collaborators to ensure technical and business accuracy.
  • Guide customers through the review and approval process, ensuring their comfort and passion in being featured.

What You Bring:

  • 5-7+ years of shown experience in Customer Marketing, Product Marketing, or Content Development, ideally within B2B or SaaS.
  • Consistent track record to translate technical solutions into business outcomes.
  • Outstanding writing and interviewing skills; comfortable speaking directly with customers and executives.
  • Experience crafting customer-facing content (case studies, videos).
  • Understanding of TCO, return on investment, and value-based messaging frameworks.
  • Strong project management and collaborator communication skills.
  • Collaborative, customer-first approach with attention to detail and storytelling authenticity.

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary.  This role does not have a variable compensation component.  The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. 

These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.  

An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program.  Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.

The typical starting salary range for this role is:
$98,200$155,400 CAD
