Consumer Experience Intern - Product Health Tracker (PHT)

Start date:  February/March 2026

Duration: 5 – 6 months 

Allowance: 625 euro per month (40hrs, 5 days, hybrid) & full reimbursement of travel expenses

Basic Requirements for all:  

  • You should have strong communication skills and fluency in English, both written and verbal (Dutch is not a requirement but other languages are a plus) 
  • You are enrolled at a university for at least 50% study load for the duration of the internship. 
  • Non - EU Students: Need to be enrolled at a Dutch University for the whole duration of the internship.
  • NOTE: EU working rights are required (Either you have EU Citizenship, you are studying in the Netherlands or have relevant student work visa) 

About the Role

As a Consumer Insights Intern, you’ll support the development and optimization of our Product Health Tracker (PHT)—a strategic tool used to monitor and benchmark product performance against key competitors. This role is ideal for someone curious about consumer research methodologies and passionate about ensuring data quality and relevance in performance tracking tools. You won’t be drawing conclusions from research data, but you’ll play a critical role in shaping how we collect, analyze, and deliver the data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and refine questionnaire language to ensure clarity, relevance, and alignment with PHT objectives
  • Evaluate the suitability of collected data for inclusion in the PHT
  • Assist in determining which diagnostics and metrics are most meaningful for tracking product health
  • Support the setup and maintenance of data structures within the PHT system
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in data collection and reporting
  • Help improve how insights are presented to stakeholders for maximum impact

What We’re Looking For

  • A student pursuing a degree in Market research, Data intelligence or analysis, Quantitative consumer studies, or a related field (experience in survey design, consumer diagnostics, and data interpretation).
  • Experience in fields/ studies of food is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for data quality and structure
  • Interest in consumer research and performance tracking tools
  • Clear communicator with a critical mindset and curiosity about how questions shape insights
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with survey design or data visualization tools is a plus. Curious, proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about understanding human behaviour through design.
