Responsibilities :
The MPS Senior Consumables Specialist is responsible for the monitoring and management of any consumables (supplies and service parts) exceptions that occur daily in the system, with the goal of ensuring that MPS customers receive the right consumables at the right time, in accordance to their contract. They are also responsible for the day-to-day communications necessary to ensure effective and efficient operations in the Managed Print Services business.
What sets the Senior Consumables Specialist apart from the regular Consumables Specialist is his/her in-depth knowledge of the process and business, as well as expertise in technical investigations, which determine whether a printer may be experiencing issues with their Proactive Consumables Management service or not. This may include the drafting of recommendations to resolve any issue that may be uncovered. Such investigations will make use of the Device Research Tool, among others, and may require coordination with other individuals or groups, who can aid in the issue diagnosis.
This specialist is also responsible for the leadership, management, and closure of annual LEAN project(s) for continuous process and operational improvements.
The individual directly reports to the L1 Manager, while working closely with other Lexmark employees and teams in Cebu, as well as those residing in the geography, he/she supports (geo operations), including teams who may reside in the Lexington Headquarters (WW Process Teams, Systems Support, etc.).
The specialist is responsible for the smooth and accurate execution of worldwide MPS standard processes for Consumables Management.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
● College/University degree in any business-related course, Industrial Engineering, Accountancy/Finance, or related courses
● Experience with computers, printers, and complex tools is preferred
● Experience with LEAN principles and problem-solving methodologies is a plus
● At least two years of relevant work experience are required.
