The purpose of the Consultant / Senior Consultant role is to work with cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams to develop Health Technology Assessment (HTA) related documents (including but not limited to Cost Effectiveness analysis, Cost Minimization and Budget impact analysis)

Model Development and adaptations (65%):
- Develop and adapt cost-effectiveness models (CEA/CUA), budget impact models (BIM), and other economic evaluations (e.g., cost-minimization, cost-consequence).
- Customize global economic models to reflect local settings, ensuring they meet the specific requirements of local HTA bodies or payers. This includes adjusting parameters, costs, and clinical inputs to reflect local practices and data.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external HTA requirements.
- Lead the development of early economic models to inform asset valuation, clinical trial design, and early market access strategy.
- Interpret and communicate modelling results to stakeholders.
- Gather and integrate feedback from reviewers, update the economic model accordingly.
- Demonstrate adaptability by efficiently transitioning between the development and preparation of various document types.
- Prepare detailed technical reports that clearly present the objectives, analyses, results, key findings, and conclusions.
- Participate in the Global Economic Model Development and provide strategic solutions to optimize model outcomes and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Contribute to publications and conference presentations based on modelling work.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate risks associated with model development.
- Influence or negotiate change of timelines and content with other team members and stakeholders.
Knowledge and Skills Development (15%):
- Maintain and enhance economic modelling knowledge including programming skills, and use of alternative platforms and related software.
- Maintain knowledge of Health Outcomes related research including RWE and Patient Reported Outcome studies, etc. and advanced understanding of economic evaluations.
- Possess overarching view of compound, therapeutic area, and external environment (including competitors).
Knowledge Sharing and Consultant Support (10%):
- Provide formal coaching to others by sharing technical information, giving guidance, answering questions.
- Recognized for technical expertise in specific economic model & document development.
- Network with others to identify and share best practices.
- Contribute to process improvements, automations and suggesting opportunities where appropriate.
- Engage in activities supporting rewards and recognition, teambuilding, and diversity.
- Support cross-functional coaching, mentoring, and training.
Customer Focus (10%):
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure that the health economic models meet their needs.
- Maintain continuous, open, and consistent communication with stakeholders.
- Establish key relationships with the stakeholders.
- Communicate model outcomes and strategic insights effectively to stakeholders.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s / Master's degree, PhD, PharmD, Master’s in Economics / Statistics or Equivalent preferred with at least 6-10 years of experience in health outcomes research.
- Demonstrated mastery of written English with experience in medical, scientific or technical writing fields (at least 1 year); professional verbal skills in English.
- Have relevant experience in developing economic models.
- Strong interpersonal, team working, and leadership skills. Able to adapt to diverse interpersonal styles.
- Strong attention to detail demonstrating accuracy in tracking and reporting data.
- Good problem-solving skills: able to anticipate and recognize problems, diagnose root causes and take corrective action to prevent recurrence.
- Strong comprehension and communication skills include the ability to translate and disseminate complex scientific information in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to be flexible in varying environments and with multiple customer groups.
- Demonstrated high-level end-user computer skills (e.g., word processing, tables and graphics, spreadsheets, presentation and templates).
- Demonstrated programming skills in software typically used for health economic modeling, especially in MS Excel with Visual Basics.
Other Information/Additional Preferences:
- Clinical pharmacology, therapeutic area, or other medical and scientific specific knowledge and experience (e.g., neuroscience, immunology, oncology, or endocrine expertise).
- Expertise in understanding the pros and cons of different approaches to generate Real World Evidence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Advanced Programming / AI application in economic modelling
