Job Summary
Responsible for realizing strategy, optimizing performance, or solving business problems with solutions that are aligned with the strategic goals of the Memorial Hermann Health System. Consultants identify and apply the best methodology to achieve measurable success while meeting client needs. Plan, direct, and coordinate large to medium strategic initiatives and projects in various functional areas within or across several locations. Typically reports to the Director of the Value Management Office (VMO).Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required.
Licenses/Certifications: Project Management Profession (PMP), Green Belt, or Prosci Certified Change Practitioner preferred.
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
Four (4) years’ consulting or project management experience required; experience in healthcare preferred.
Strong collaboration, process improvement, project management, and problem-solving.
Strong critical thinking skills; ability to develop solutions that address client needs.
Excellent communicator who thinks well on their feet and can persuade client to action.
Genuine passion for and commitment to adding value to the patient experience.
Highly knowledgeable about healthcare landscape and current trends in healthcare.

Principal Accountabilities
Analyzes complex problems to identify how to best add value for the client.
Tailors project management, process improvement, and change management methodology to solve problems and add value for clients.
Collects information about the client’s operations through a variety of methods (shadowing, interviews, surveys, analyzing reports etc.) and recommends improvements.
Gathers, reviews, and analyzes data to draw insights and use data to tell a story.
Effectively engages with clients to ensure meaningful results are achieved, and to build ongoing relationships.
Uses varied media to clearly and succinctly communicate key or complex ideas in a simple and graphical manner.
Simultaneously completes multiple projects correctly prioritizing tasks within and between projects.
Provides leadership to assigned projects.
Plans, organizes, and moderates effective meetings for executive audiences.
Moves toward solution despite aggressive schedules and discouraging developments.
Draws upon healthcare knowledge, trends, and experiences to identify and mitigate risk.
Provides thoughtful, timely, and specific feedback to team members and stakeholders.
Approaches barriers as opportunities and leads project team in recognizing and overcoming resistance to project success.
