What You’ll Be Doing
As Consultant, Data & Insights, You’ll be responsible for enabling and supporting data-driven decision-making for CIBC’s cards and deposits products.. You will work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver tailored data solutions, and provide ad hoc analysis to address various business questions and product performance issues. In this end-to-end role, Manage projects from initial requirement capture through to final report delivery, ensuring accuracy and relevance throughout the process. Contribute to the ongoing migration of data infrastructure to cloud-based platforms like Databricks, staying up to date with the latest analytics technologies.

How You’ll Succeed
Innovative Problem Solving – Actively lead the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of complex data analytics and visualization solutions. Focus on quality, depth of analysis, and clear communication of actionable recommendations.
Business Effectiveness - Identify and recommend changes that enhance operations whether through technology or other processes to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
Strategic Thinking Approach – Drive, manage and execute PBB data and reporting projects and initiatives in alignment with CIBC and PBB Strategy while supporting the business goals, objectives and KPIs. Ability to think strategically about how to mobilize and engage teams across the enterprise to deliver strategic change.
Relationship Management - Manage the relationship between the Data and Reporting and various partners throughout the bank with a high focus on client experience and partnering for shared success. Build internal and external relationships as required to help ensure we are providing the right level of service to our leadership team and business partners.
Communication - Excellent verbal and writing skills to effectively articulate ideas and opinions that involve analysis, processes, and technology solutions to others with different disciplinary backgrounds. Ability to produce a variety of business documents that demonstrate command of language, clarity of thought and orderliness of presentation.
Reporting - Track progress and conduct analysis of data and reports. Support in the tracking and communication of performance metrics.

You can demonstrate experience with: Extracting, preparing, and transforming data from multiple sources using tools such as Python and PySpark, as well as developing and automating reports through Power BI, Tableau, and ThoughtSpot,.
