Job Responsibilities:
Make plans for construction works.
Review and comment construction plans from contractors, make sure the plans are in correct sequence, realistic and conforms project objectives.
Facilitate coordination between contractors and other project parties for problem solving and prompt execution of works.
Monitoring construction progress: overseeing the construction advancement and identifying any delays.
Ensure the contractor takes necessary steps to address delays.
Identify and mitigate risks during construction.
Uphold quality of works by conducting quality inspections and managing Inspections by 3rd parties.
Safety supervision: ensure contractors carry out their works in good practice and safety manner.
Chair Construction Management Meetings that facilitate the duties outlined for construction managers.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction field, in manager role in main contractors.
Experience of managing building construction and fitting out projects.
Good Cantonese and English communication and writing.
Good knowledge of construction regulations, procedures and practices.
