About the role:

Raytheon UK is looking for an experienced Configuration Specialist to join our Engineering Development team, within the Systems & Products Department.

The role will be based at Raytheon’s Glenrothes/Livingston facility and work alongside a Senior Configuration Specialist, and the successful candidate will report directly to an Engineering Manager.

The Configuration Specialist will support the configurational requirements of existing customer projects, whilst also supporting the wider function. Your

Skills and Experience

Requirements

  • Competent user of Microsoft Offices applications
  • Good communication skills & Time Management
  • Organised and able to prioritise workload
  • Team player
  • Experienced user of Configuration Management Systems
  • Experience at leading and or supporting the Change Review/Control Boards

Desirable

  • Experience using CPDM Configuration Management System
  • Experience of working within an Engineering Development team
  • Awareness of Engineering Development Life Cycle
  • Experience of Manufacturing & Quality within a Engineering Development cycle
  • Experience of SAP
  • Experience of writing technical project proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring effective Change Management across projects
  • Configuration and Data Management in line with RUK processes
  • Supporting the project Change Boards
  • Supporting obsolescence reporting on current and legacy projects
  • Configuration of Project thru life cycle management
  • Participate in process improvement projects
  • Support internal and external configuration audits
  • Management of RUKs Configuration Management System
