We are seeking a Compliance Analyst to support the enhancement of our global ethics and compliance management framework. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a purpose-driven organization that operates across APAC, LATAM, EMEA, and North America.

About the Role

As a Compliance Analyst, you will play a key role in strengthening Cochlear’s compliance framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory obligations and industry best practices. This permanent role based in our Macquarie Uni campus head office will have you collaborate with global stakeholders and contribute to compliance operations, governance, and the embedment of ethical practices across the business.


A major focus of this role is leveraging data-driven monitoring and oversight solutions to proactively manage risk and improve compliance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of a global compliance framework.
  • Provide expert guidance on compliance topics including anti-bribery & corruption, sanctions, and conflicts of interest.
  • Partner with global teams to embed compliance into operations through training and communication programs.
  • Conduct compliance risk assessments and support investigations and audits.
  • Monitor global regulatory developments and address emerging compliance risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement using technology and data analytics.

About You

You are a proactive and analytical professional with a passion for ethics and compliance. You thrive in complex environments and enjoy collaborating across diverse teams. You bring:

  • Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks and governance.
  • Excellent analytical, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience embedding compliance programs in global operations.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 3+ years’ experience in compliance, legal, audit, or regulatory affairs.
  • Fluency in English.

Desirable

  • Experience in the medical devices or healthcare sector.
  • Knowledge of global regulatory compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with data analytics in compliance.
  • Compliance certification (e.g., CCEP, CRCMP).
