PURPOSE

This position will assist the Community Services Program Coordinator with Membership Programs, Visitor Services, and Engagement Events for the Community Service Program.

DESCRIPTION

Functional Area 1: Membership Programs

Percent Effort: 34%

  • Prepare and send membership correspondence both physical and digital

  • Maintain a constituent database of members and donors

Functional Area 2: Visitor Services

Percent Effort: 33%

  • Update visitor information and signage

  • Monitor, collect, and respond to visitor feedback

Functional Area 3: Engagement Events

Percent Effort: 33%

  • Distribute museum information at on-site and off-site events (occasional nights and weekends)

  • Assist in hosting monthly creative community events at the museum

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Additional experience may be used as a substitute for the minimum requirement:

    • High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years of related experience.

    • Associate degree and two (2) years of related experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Customer service skills and an ability to respond calmly to complaints

  • Collaboration skills and ability to work as a member of a team

  • Interest in the arts and culture of our community

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Blackbaud Altru

  • Mailchimp (email marketing)

  • Square Space (website building)

SALARY: Up to $18.71 Hourly ($38,916.80 Annually Approximately)
