About the Role:
The San Francisco Giants are looking for a part-time Community Relations Assistant who will have the unique opportunity to focus on Giants community programming by supporting Bay Area communities and nonprofits through donations, partnerships and special requests during the 2026 Giants baseball season. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with other teams in the front office including the Giants Community Fund, Special Events, Live Experience and Entertainment, Communications and Customer Service departments. We believe we can meet and serve fans and community members where they are through our unique programs and efforts. You’ll focus on researching, understanding and prioritizing community needs and how best to utilize our assets to support those needs.
 
You will be expected to take ownership of special projects and events, fulfill donation programs and support the Community Relations team on a variety of initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to balance various projects and work in a collaborative setting as a team player. This role reports to the Director of Community Relations. It is a part-time position designed to develop and grow your skills in community relations and will be located in our beautiful ballpark headquarters at Oracle Park, 24 Willie Mays Plaza in San Francisco.

·       You will play a key role in coordination of awareness assets including the Community Clubhouse and Spotlight and will assist in managing the schedule for those activations throughout the season.
·       You will play a principal role in fulfilling donation requests through in-kind and ticket donation programs.
·       You will assist with the coordination and execution of various events throughout the season, such as Peanut Allergy Friendly Day, Library Day, Girls Day, various other community awareness days, and player visits. 
·       You will have the opportunity to research existing and potential community partnerships. 
·       You will assist with meet and greets for community auction fulfillment and individual experiences. 
·       You will provide overall support to the Community Relations and Communications Department with a focus on administrative tasks.

Qualifications 
·       Experience in community outreach preferred
·       Ability to work well within a fast-paced team environment while juggling priorities
·       Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
·       Experience working in a project-based environment with emphasis on meeting deadlines
·       Ability to work non-traditional hours in non-traditional settings
·       Possess high degree of discretion, integrity, professionalism, and accountability
·       Proficient computer skills including experience in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
·       Great at driving and maintaining relationships with external and internal partners
·       A keen sense of ownership, drive, and willingness to get it done
·       Highly organized and possess the ability to multitask between administrative projects
·       Must be available 32 hours/week in person, from January – October 2026, including some nights and weekends on designated dates throughout the season
