The team CREFS NL
The Centre of Expertise for Corporate Real Estate Management and Facility Services Netherlands (CREFS NL) is responsible for managing the real estate portfolio and related facility services for ING’s offices in the Netherlands. Our goal is to provide an inspiring and sustainable work environment that connects people, attracts talent, and contributes to the strength of our business units. By creating an environment that fosters a positive employee experience and by developing an attractive real estate portfolio, we deliver tangible value to our internal clients and the organization as a whole. To continue delivering value, we consistently invest in innovation, enabling us to stay ahead and operate in a lean, cost-conscious, and CO₂- and energy-efficient way. We create environments that are not only inspiring but also truly make a difference. We achieve this by placing sustainability and inclusivity at the heart of everything we do, enhancing the employee experience, and making ING’s brand identity tangible in every space.
What drives us is not only what we do, but also how we do it. We strive for control over quality, risks, and performance to stay in control, while building high-performing teams with colleagues in the right roles, equipped with the right expertise, and the opportunity to grow and thrive. We think and act with a long-term vision, make conscious decisions based on data and insights, and continuously develop our services with the user at the center. Our drive for development ensures that we keep learning, improving, and innovating.
We do this in close collaboration with our facility partner. Within an Integrated Facility Management (IFM) structure, the execution of facility services at the operational and tactical levels is outsourced. CREFS is responsible for the vision, policy, and the determination of the strategy and objectives for the real estate and facility services portfolio.

Around lunchtime, you take the opportunity to catch up with colleagues from Real Estate and Facility Services. These informal interactions are essential for staying connected, sharing insights, and identifying opportunities to improve the Orange Workplace Experience.
In the afternoon, you meet with a Tech lead to explore their requirements for building a vibrant community. You listen to their needs, suggest activities, and agree on how you can support them in making the office an attractive and engaging place to work.
