WHO WE ARE

An exciting and challenging supply chain supplier account manager position is available in Intel's Global Materials Organization. GMO Team is the strategic sourcing organization that develops and procures chemical materials for Intel. The account manager position plays a critical role in developing and executing sourcing strategies with key suppliers. This role collaborates directly with strategic materials suppliers, technology development partners, global factories, quality, and operations team. We're looking for an experienced supply chain individual with commercial skill sets and chemistry knowledge to do the responsibilities for this role.

WHO YOU ARE

As a Commodity Sourcing Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Owning strategic supplier relationships and influencing strategy, negotiations and contracting, spending management, modeling and cost reduction roadmap execution, supplier financial health, a business market analysis expert within commodity area, developing and implementing commodity sourcing strategies, supply chain, and sub-supply chain risk reduction strategies.
• Performing cost analysis and volume planning in conjunction with strategy development and execution to ensure Intel's supply chain is healthy and competitive.
• Recommending cost-saving proposals including alternative sourcing and vendor evaluation criteria.
• Coordinating purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to acquire chemical in a globally cost-effective and timely manner.
• Influencing at all levels and bringing different perspectives together to drive a unified long-term supply chain strategy and short-term operational execution.
• Partnering with Operations teams and Technical teams, TD (Technology Development), Finance, Planning, and Legal to proactively drive the optimization of CQAT (Cost, Quality, Availability, Technology) within the Intel's supply line for select commodities and/or raw materials.
• Preparing and conducting analysis to facilitate critical decision-making, strategic negotiations, and contracting.

Qualifications:

You must possess the minimum qualifications below to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry, Supply Chain, or related field with 5+ years relevant experience or Master's Degree Business, Engineering, Chemistry, Supply Chain, or related field with 3+ years relevant experience.

Relevant experience should be with Supply Chain Management and/or contract management and supplier relationship management

Preferred Qualifications:
Supply chain experience in materials science, chemistry, or semiconductor materials

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:

 

 

$150,310.00-178,460.00 USD
