Responsibilities
Act as the champion of your product to successfully bring it to market. Deliver on the vision, strategy, message, and plan. Monitor and communicate the product performance from launch to end of life.
Deliver holistic product experience (HW, SW, Collaboration, Security, human factors, sustainability). Balance the needs and use cases of end-user and IT decision-maker target personas.
Maintain customer focus, and demonstrate deep understanding of market landscape, business performance and portfolio strategy when driving product decisions.
Define and articulate all aspects of the next-gen product transition (customer path, cost, supply assurance, performance, hero experiences and innovations)
Maintain close partnership and engagement with stakeholder and partner organizations. Address requests with a sense of urgency and provide timely response and communications.
Manage product roadmap, feature, schedule, cost, and quality in NPI or sustaining stage. Be the focal point for GBU and markets. Communicate GBU portfolio/product/execution strategy.
Defining your product Go-To-Market plan and content deliverables for impactful launch internally and externally. Aid the sales efforts to end users and partners.
Provide closed-loop post-analysis of product performance, market, and competitor status.
Demonstrate agility and ability to lean in for the team and pivot to changing or new business priorities with enthusiasm and commitment.
Serve as a mentor to junior members of the team, helping them grow and develop their skills.
Represent and advocate for HP’s commercial notebook product management organization in cross-functional process improvement initiatives and other projects.
Education & Experience Recommended
Experience driving full product lifecycle (from idea to launch to sustaining to end of life) with deep knowledge of marketing elements (product, pricing, promotion, and positioning).
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a matrix and cross-functional team environment.
BA or BS in marketing, business, or technology field; post-graduate degree preferred.
8+ years of product marketing, program management or operational experience.
Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of product lifecycle planning, development and GTM processes, and the interdependent steps required to drive change.
Excellent organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to connect the dots, to lead and influence others at all organizational levels to solve challenging problems.
Good in storytelling and turning complex data and concepts into engaging and easy-to-understand visuals.
Comfortable presenting and engaging senior leaders.
The base pay range for this role is $137,250 to $205,200 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
