As a Commercial Excellence Trainee, you will support projects related to CRM and other Commercial Excellence (CommEx) systems to deliver core capabilities to Alcon in the areas of Sales and Marketing. You’ll contribute to data and functional elements of commercial initiatives to accelerate adoption and drive impact.
You’ll be part of the International Solution Delivery team, receiving guidance and training while gaining increasing independence throughout the internship. Please note that the scope of this role is for Italy and Iberia (Spain & Portugal) and this internship is a 6-month internship with the possibility of extension for another 6 months.

 

A Typical Day Might Include:
•     Supporting the International team to manage, report, track, and organize the ticketing system
•     Building relevant documentation over governed tools
•     Supporting local deployment, training, and engagement on core CommEx platforms (e.g., Salesforce.com, Pitcher, Marketing Cloud, Einstein Analytics)
•     Understanding data quality within the Salesforce environment and supporting functional experts with insights and recommendations (e.g., customer account setup, sales data)
•     Assisting with CommEx data integration and reporting needs
•     Driving adoption of CommEx tools and processes
•     Supporting the local Incentives process
•     Providing insights and recommendations to the Cluster Head
•     Conducting analysis and delivering insights for business needs

 

What You’ll Bring to Alcon:
•     Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Pharmaceutical, or another related quantitative field
•     Advanced proficiency in English and Italian; Spanish is a plus
•     High learning agility and self-motivation
•     Strong data analytics skills
•     Experience or knowledge of Excel and other analytical tools
•     Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) or analytics platforms (e.g., Alteryx) is a plus.
