What you’ll do:


Key Responsibilities

Pursuit Strategy & Support

  • Lead or advise on RFP responses, focusing on commercial terms and deal structure.
  • Partner with Business Development to assess and qualify opportunities, evaluating risk and strategic fit.

Customer Education & Enablement

  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on standard commercial terms.
  • Support Sales in understanding and positioning terms effectively with clients.
  • Participate in customer calls to explain standard terms and their value proposition as needed.

Negotiation & Contract Structuring

  • Advise or lead negotiations when deviations from standard terms are required.
  • Design contract structures for complex engagements, balancing value creation, risk mitigation, and P&L impact and timing.
  • Identify best practices and drive consistency across GEOs. Anticipate compliance needs and incorporate early in deal development.

Governance & Deal Approval

  • Streamline internal approvals by crafting deal structures aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Position exception requests within approvable parameters when necessary.
  • Provide guidance on deal governance, NSPs, and order booking policies.

Post-Sale Engagement

  • Transition deals seamlessly to Delivery and Client Management teams.
  • Remain engaged post-sale for complex issues such as novation, partial cancellations, or in-flight deal changes.

Deal Scope

  • Manage a wide range of deal types, from local contract renegotiations to large, global engagements with Fortune 100 clients.


What you need to bring:

  • Comfortable navigating fast paced, complex decision-making environments.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to distil complex concepts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations. Ability to adapt communication style to various audiences: external, internal, and different functions (i.e Sales, Procurement, Finance, Legal, etc)
  • Deep understanding of the interplay between deal structure, commercial terms, and internal HPE policies
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams of SMEs.
  • Contract negotiation and client relationship management skills.
  • Results-driven mindset aligned with helping GEOS achieve sales targets.
