As CNC Programmer you will be responsible for;

  • Developing and optimizing machining programs for complex gas turbine and aerospace components.

  • Creating, simulating, and validating CNC machining programs using Siemens NX CAM (NX CNC) for multi‑axis milling, turning, or grinding operations.

  • Translating 3D CAD models and engineering drawings into optimized, right‑first‑time machining instructions.

  • Defining cutting tools, fixtures, and process parameters for titanium, nickel alloys, and other aerospace‑grade materials.

  • Conducting virtual verification and collision checking in NX CAM prior to release to the shop floor.

  • Working with manufacturing engineers, machinists, and quality teams to achieve dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and cost targets.

  • Implementing DFM / DNC / digital machining standards within the manufacturing process.

  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / Six Sigma) to reduce cycle time and improve tool life.

  • Maintaining accurate process documentation and configuration control of CNC programs.

Qualifications;

  • HNC / HND / Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering.

  • 3–5 years’ experience in CNC programming within aerospace or gas turbine manufacturing.

  • Proficiency with Siemens NX CAM (NX CNC) and strong understanding of post‑processor management.

  • Solid knowledge of machining processes for turbine components (blades, casings, rotors, discs).

  • Understanding of GD&T, process capability (Cp/Cpk), and quality standards (AS9100 / NADCAP).

  • Experience with multi‑axis CNC machines and advanced simulation tools.

Desirable;

  • Familiarity with CMM verification workflows and digital twin integration.

  • Exposure to adaptive machining or repair engineering environments.

  • Experience with toolpath optimization, CAM automation, or PLM integration (Teamcenter).

 

 

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
