About the Role

As a CMS Developer, you’ll help bring creative designs to life by developing fast, responsive, and high-performing websites. Your work will directly impact local businesses across the country helping them grow through engaging, accessible, and results-driven web experiences. You’ll collaborate with designers, creative managers, and fellow developers to deliver scalable web solutions that reflect each client’s brand and goals. This role is ideal for a web developer with a few years of hands-on experience who’s ready to take greater ownership of projects, continue learning, and make an impact in a supportive, team-driven environment.

What Your Success Will Look Like

  • Build and maintain high-quality, user-friendly websites aligned with client goals and brand standards.
  • Write clean, efficient, and responsive front-end code to create seamless user experiences across all devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website performance issues to maintain uptime and speed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate design concepts into functional, standards-based websites.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with teammates and stakeholders to meet timelines and expectations.
  • Stay informed on emerging web technologies and share insights to improve quality, efficiency, and accessibility.

Who You Are And What You Bring

  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in front-end or CMS development.
  • Experience
    • 2+ years of of professional web development experience
    • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
    • Strong commitment to collaboration, customer focus, and creative problem-solving.
  • Skills
    • Detail-oriented with a passion for writing maintainable, accessible code.
    • Skilled at diagnosing and solving technical challenges efficiently.
    • Clear communicator with strong organizational and time management abilities.
    • Curious and eager to learn in a dynamic, inclusive environment.
    • Able to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities with flexibility.

Compensation  

We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.

  • The base salary range is $60,000 (entry-level) - $70,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. 
  • The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses or commissions.
