Job Description Summary Minimum starting salary $18.00 / hour

The TCM is a qualified staff person responsible for the delivery of a full range of support services to adolescents impacted by trauma and a variety of mental/behavioral health needs/concerns. TCM is primarily responsible for coordinating among both internal and external team members, communicating the clients progress and/or struggles, and helps facilitate needed services to ensure client success in treatment in both an inpatient and/or outpatient setting.  TCM will be trained in trauma-informed care and will work to help provide services in an environment that is sensitive and responsive which will prevent victimization, abuse, or trauma as a result of the care received. TCM reports to the Clinical Supervisor.

Education:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in social services from an accredited college, or university.

Qualifications:

  • The TCM must be at least 21 years of age. 
  • They must have or be willing to develop the skills necessary to assist individuals in working through their struggles to live in the community successfully. 
  • In-depth knowledge of a broad base of community services is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor patient participation and progress in organized treatment programs to ensure the planned frequency of service according to the client’s individual treatment plan.
  • Communicate information regarding client’s needs, treatment, and continuum of care with key members of the client’s team with special emphasis on the need of care for the client.
  • Maintain an appropriate professional relationship with guardians, parents, family, and referral sources.
  • Ensure that all required documentation is completed in a timely manner as dictated by licensure requirements, State and Federal regulations, as well as Ozark Center Policy and Procedure.
  • Must be available for after-hour and weekend service provision as determined by the clinical supervisor.
  •  Arrange and coordinate an individualized treatment plan encompassing all areas of the patient’s life development.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Normal office environment.
  • Typical physical demands include prolonged sitting, frequent standing, bending, stooping, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. 
  • Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, telephone, photocopier, calculator, and other office equipment as needed. 
  • Requires ability to work under stressful conditions and to work irregular hours and deal with emotionally dysregulated individuals.
  • Requires some transporting of patients in personal vehicle. 
  • Requires good driving skills.
  • TB test upon hire.
