The Corporate Sponsorship Strategy Manager will be a key resource to the Corporate Sponsorship and Marketing team at Prudential. We are looking for an innovative and resourceful team player with a creative mindset to support the development and visualization of sponsorship strategies and programs to showcase differentiation and drive impact rooted in data and insights.

Reports to: Vice President of Sponsorships and Social Media OR Director of Sponsorships

Key Responsibilities:

Partnership Integration:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential partners.
  • Support the seamless integration of sponsorship partners into our business framework to ensure measurable business impacting outcomes.
  • Ensure alignment of partnership goals with our corporate objectives.
  • Update key sponsorship strategy documents including partnership overviews.
  • Yearly Roadmap & Business Planning:
  • Develop and maintain detailed roadmaps for partnership initiatives.
  • Engage in strategic business planning to forecast and allocate resources effectively.
  • Create and manage annual calendars for partnership activations and events.
  • Keeping cross functional team accountable to key dates, driving timelines and accountability across internal and external partners

Social Media Integration:

  • Collaborate with the organic and paid social media teams to integrate partnership content into social media strategies.
  • Monitor, analyze, report social media performance related to partnership activities.
  • Support Renewal Discussions:
  • Assist in the preparation of partnership renewals.
  • Provide data, insights, and recommendations to support renewal discussions and decision-making.

Measurement Mapping & Reporting:

  • Develop sponsorship dashboard.
    • BU Template for post event
    • Placemat for post event
    • Consumer tracking data
  • Partner with internal partners and third-party vendors to develop qualitative and quantitative insights relevant to sponsorship portfolio.

Creative Brief Development:

  • Lead creative brief development for partnership-related marketing and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with the internal partners to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and objectives.

Planner, Calendar, Files:

  • Manage Corporate Sponsorship Microsoft Teams channel.
  • Maintain organized planners, calendars, and files to ensure smooth execution of partnership activities.
  • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

Ability to Create Strong Storytelling Presentations:

  • Develop compelling presentations that effectively communicate partnership strategies and outcomes.
  • Utilize storytelling techniques to engage and persuade diverse audiences.

Policies & Procedures Management:

  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to partnership management.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Benevity Integration Support:

  • Support the onboarding and long-term integration of Benevity platform for sponsorship opportunity intake.
  • Monitor and report on Benevity-related activities and outcomes.

Activation Support:

  • Partner with Manager of Hospitality & Activation to support strategic allocation of hospitality opportunities tied to sponsorship partnerships.
  • Partner with activation team to ensure partner alignment, on brand messaging, clear business integrations.
  • Provide on the ground support for activations when needed.

Required Skills:

  • BA/BS in marketing, sports management, business, or related field are required.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years professional experience managing national/global sponsorships, experiential, brand activation and media partnerships
  • Experience with brand marketing, media planning and sponsorship negotiations for Fortune 500 brands.
  • Possess clear, concise, and engaging verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Team player mentality
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external relationships to meet common goals.
  • Independently steward multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of respect for detail, accuracy, and organization
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and solutions skills.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to tasks and problem-solving
  • Proficiency in new technologies, including how to use AI to improve outcomes and team processes.
  • Potential to travel 25% for oversight on program execution, if necessary

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $115,800.00 to $172,300.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
